Yard Dog Trial

What an amazing weekend with being Greg’s first & only my second trial. Greg & Dee had a cracker of a weekend running in 4 events and making 3 finals.

Greg & Dee placed 1st in the Yarranbrook Feedlot Open Bush Dog Challenge on the Friday with a total score of 187 (90 + 91), with him and Kippa getting a score of 81 and an 83 with Cassie. Saturday saw Greg & Dee make the final in the Paycheck Working Dog Encourage Trial but were unplaced with a total score of 159 (85 + 74), with Kippa he scored 67. On Sunday Greg & Dee placed 3rd in the Maiden with total score 174 (90 + 84) out of 36 dogs, with Kippa he scored a 59. In the Novice Greg ran Dee, they scored a 63.

I ran Lil & Cassie in the Encourage, Lil & I scored a 53 and a 69 with Cassie. In the Maiden I scored a 40 with Cassie, unfortunately I let the old girl down but am happy with our runs and I certainly learnt a lot.
